The Schnabel air-powered CV boot installer has strong pneumatic fingers that spread a rubber CV boot wide enough to slip it over the constant velocity joint. No need to remove the joint from the axle; turns a two hour struggle into a twenty minute job. Easy to use. Just insert the collapsed fingers of the installer into the CV boot center hole, and push a button to expand the boot opening. Air power does the rest. Requires compressed air source. Not suitable for use with plastic CV boots.
